What happens when someone grows up Catholic, discovers Jesus through Scripture, and eventually becomes Protestant?
In this episode of Certainty4Eternity, Sam Jensen shares her story of growing up in an Italian Catholic family, attending Catholic Mass with her grandparents, and first becoming fascinated by Jesus through school Scripture classes.
Sam explains the questions she wrestled with around confession, forgiveness, assurance and the Catholic Church, and how coming to understand salvation through Christ changed her understanding of the gospel.
She also shares what it was like navigating her family's Catholic identity, having difficult conversations with people she loves, and discovering that others in her own family had made a similar journey.
