We go through every other army in the Imperium and ask Brian Jones and Rees Darvill for a couple of tips on how to play into each one. We're also joined by a random, roving Stig very late in the show. Big Dom is back! Okay ... in the last episode Dom said he thought Purge the Foe was the worst disposition for Knights. He said he'd rather take Disruption than Purge!! So we put it to a vote on the discord, and now he has to take Imperial Knights, with Disruption to the World Champs!! In this episode we talk about building a list, whether Disruption can really work and be competitive, what he's thinling in terms of detachments and units, and much more. 40k by Knight is a podcast especially for Imperial and Chaos Knights players, hosted by Steve, Rees, Brian, Ratnu and Stig, that focusses on strategy and tactics for those of us who love the big, stompy life. Dom Ridley took a Valourstrike and Dominus Foebreakers list to the London Grand Tournament and went 6 and 1 (sort of), finishing 11th out of more than 1100 players! He rode his luck all the way to the top cut, and we all want to know how he did it! In this episode Dom talks us through his list (Valiant, Gallant, 2 x Errants and 2 x Destriers), how it played, the way it was designed, and we go match by match talking tactics and detailed strategy. And of course, what worked, what didn't, and what changes he'll make for the next one. There's so much in this episode! 40k by Knight is a podcast especially for Imperial and Chaos Knights players, hosted by Steve, Rees, Brian, Ratnu and Stig, that focusses on strategy and tactics for those of us who love the big, stompy life. Brian Jones took a Valourstrike and Dominus Foebreakers combo to the Crucible Major in Florida, went 6 and 1 and came 5th overall. A huge effort! Dom Ridley came within 1 dice roll of winning a supermajor with Imperial Knights. Even better - he was playing Mani Cheema in the final at Manchester and just needed to roll a 3 to win the game!! In this episode Dom talks us through his list (Gate Warden Lance and QFP), how it played, the way it was designed, and we go match by match talking tactics and detailed strategy. 40k by Knight is a podcast especially for Imperial and Chaos Knights players, hosted by Steve, Rees, Brian, Ratnu and Stig, that focusses on strategy and tactics for those of us who love the big, stompy life. Ratnu Vaidya - the world's top ranked CK player from last season's ITC - has assembled ALL the Chaos Knights players fron this year's WTC to talk about the event and the big changes in the recent dataslate. All of them took some flavour of wardog spam, and it seems like that's the main thing still on the menu. We go over the lists from the tournament and how the guys did, and then we dive into the dataslate, the points drops the new combos and what ideas they have for new directions to go in. And there are some wild ones! AUDIO issues on this episode: I apologise. It's very hard to hear my microphone. 40k by Knight is a podcast especially for Imperial and Chaos Knights players, hosted by Steve, Rees, Brian, Ratnu and Stig, that focusses on strategy and tactics for those of us who love the big, stompy life.
