The boys have been to the cinema, just like everyone else to see Chris Nolan's The Odyssey, in IMAX of course!
After a lengthy break, the boys take the opportunity to catch on everything that's been going on, chat about what they've been watching and have an in depth discussion about Strange Darling and Netflix straight to streaming movie, Apex.
This week the boys discuss their latest trip to the cinema as they review Project Hail Mary and also discuss the very interesting production of The Abyss and give their thoughts. As always they answer listener questions and discuss what they've watched.
In this episode, Jamie and John discuss the latest in film and TV, including the Oscars, new releases, and their favorite scenes. They analyse the twists and themes of 'The Housemaid' (2025), explore Sidney Sweeney's career, and share insights on filmmaking and storytelling. In this episode, we hosts delve into the nuances of filmmaking, the evolution of visual effects, and the appeal of 90s thrillers. They discuss the impact of budget, technology, and artistic vision on movie quality, highlighting specific films and industry trends.
After a three part Hitchcock special for their 100th episode, Jamie and Jon have lost the plot and are now exploring two films that they once considered good... They dive into the nostalgic world of High School Musical from 2006 (is it really better than Marvel phase 4 ?!) and Masters of the Universe from 1987. It's the chaotic catch up you've been waiting for.
