Dreaming Big Is Not Delusional: What Comes Next and the Goals I’m Ready to Say Out Loud After Making $500K from Social Media
HindsightShow Notes
In this AMA episode, I asked the girls in my current Seen cohort to send me their biggest questions about my life, and they delivered! There’s a lot I haven’t said before filming this episode in my Cape Town bedroom: I am slowly winding down my social agency. I can make a million dollars next year. Also, there’s a book idea that literally will not leave my mind. (Oh, and I want to be on other people’s podcasts so I’ll make that happen!) I talk about where my brain goes when it’s allowed to think really, really big and how I create daily space for my intuition. One major upgrade this year has been paying for mentors, so I highlight the value of investing in yourself through constant learning. We’ll chat about friendship, maybe being a witch, and my positive experience living in Cape Town. And since I get this question often, I explain knowing how much of yourself to share online, with two questions to filter what you are ready to be vulnerable about. I hope you’ll join me for this honest chat and genuine reflection on the big, beautiful life that I have the privilege to share with you all. Then I hope you’ll go do something that scares you. Winding down my social agency and what that actually feels like to say out loud Earning half a million dollars in revenue just from organic social media this year and what that number means to me Why I share money openly and where that habit actually came from Why I follow the breadcrumbs instead of working backwards from a 5-year goal What the next three to five years could look like, including a community model (???), my book idea, being a guest on podcasts and creating more Seen cohorts Friendship and why I don’t network How delusionally-big I am allowing my brain to go right now Ego versus intuition, and how I physically feel the difference between fear and a genuine gut warning in my body Keeping my mornings screen-free to create space for my intuition Benefits of investing $40K in myself this year for mentors (and more for courses) Why I cannot stand the idea that doing the right thing is supposed to feel good all the time (the aligned action myth) How I decide whether to share something online, and questions you can ask yourself to determine what feels right for you What it is actually like to live in Cape Town: safety, landscape, and lifestyle A request to enter my DMs and tell me what topics you want to hear more of!

This week, Lauren is joined by Lauren Hunter, coach and founder of the women’s community Quietly Becoming, to discuss feminine and masculine energies. They met in person when Lauren Hunter came to Cape Town, and if you have followed either of them online for any length of time, it will come as absolutely no surprise that they ended up sitting across from each other having exactly this conversation. Lauren Hunter has spent years building a body of work around feminine energy, dating, relationships and self-development for women, and she aligns with Lauren one what they both find missing from the online conversation: nuance, warmth, and a genuine respect for men. This is not an episode about softness as a strategy or passivity as a personality. It is a conversation about what feminine energy actually is, what it is not, why the Instagram version of it often does more harm than good, and how integrating both masculine and feminine energy is what makes a woman, and a relationship, genuinely thrive. If you've been here for a while, you know the bet. I started 2026 with 206 followers, and my boyfriend Patrick bet against me that I'd never hit 50,000K followers on Instagram by the end of the year. The stakes were a fully funded trip to Japan. I crushed that goal in less than six months and as of October, I have over 78K followers!! Patrick and I spent three weeks in Japan after an insane launch for my Synced Masterclass and opening the (now closed) doors for the second Seen cohort, where 100+ women will learn how to build a personal brand in their feminine energy and from a place of joy. Today, Patrick and I are sitting on the sofa for a chill Japan debrief. For anyone who's new here, Patrick is my partner of a few years. He’s Austrian, chronically efficient, and cracked jokes for the entire recording. Patrick has been a recurring character in this podcast long before he was ever a guest on it, but this is his first appearance. (But not the last? You let me know in the comments or my DMs if he gets to come back!) This episode is our honest, slightly chaotic, and occasionally argued-over breakdown of all the places we visited across Japan. We cover the food, culture, trip highlights, things that surprised us, a few disappointments and our overall reflections from three weeks offline. Key Takeaways
I'm recording this from my bed in Tokyo, which is not where I planned to record an episode about 15 years of being estranged from 90% of my family but this is a topic I was going to share on the podcast eventually and a reel started trending on Instagram a month after I posted it. Lots of you can unfortunately relate, so here we are. I want to be upfront: this episode includes discussions of an abusive childhood, family estrangement, not being believed, and everything else that is genuinely hard. If that's not where you're at right now, I love you and please sit this one out. But if you're somewhere in the middle of this pain and you need to hear that doing the healing work is worth it, I recorded this episode for you. I’ve been getting lots of questions in my DMs so I’ll be answering some of those by sharing my thoughts on grief, guilt, dealing with difficult questions from other people and the surprising number of beautiful things that came out of all of this pain. I also talk about growing up with an emotionally volatile mum, leaving home at 16, and what it feels like to be estranged so suddenly. Key Takeaways
Lauren sits down with Brooke Barnard, an intuitive and energetic healer who booked a 1:1 strategy session and ended up booked on the podcast in the first ten minutes! Brooke has spent the last decade training her intuition across thousands of hours of study in neuroscience, universal laws, and energetic healing. In this episode, she explains how intuition reframes everything from physical ailments to conflict in your relationships to money blocks and the spinning, never-satisfied feeling that you are likely familiar with. Lauren and Brooke get into what intuition actually is, why almost everyone misunderstands it, and why developing your intuition as a precision skill, not a vague feeling, changes absolutely everything. You asked me on Instagram stories for the honest highs and lows of this launch: unexpected moments, what I’d do differently, shadow sides…everything that doesn’t make it into the highlight reels online. I opened my sales page right before this episode and realised I've just crossed $300,000 made directly from @bylaurendudley on Instagram. What the fuck. So what you're getting today is completely raw, unfiltered, and very much still being processed in real time. We had 1,609 people sign up to the Synced masterclass, made over $84,000 from the event itself, and I cried approximately zero times because I was too overstimulated to feel anything. I ran the entire launch from a deeply masculine energy, had arguments with Patrick that were really about my own stress, and spent a foot massage in Thailand desperately trying not to pick up my phone. The launch was amazing, and I can’t wait to do it again with more of my feminine energy in the lead. Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to attend our live calls or watch the replays. As you’ll hear in this episode, I deeply care about the impact of my work. Key Takeaways
