Andrew Bridgen returns to Society 2.0 for Part 2 of his conversation, discussing his time in Parliament, political influence, government spending and some of the controversies he encountered during his career.
Andrew reflects on his early warnings over HS2, his conversations inside Westminster and what he says these experiences revealed about the way major political decisions are made. He also discusses Operation Conifer and the allegations surrounding former Prime Minister Edward Heath, recalling the warning he says he gave to the officer leading the investigation.
The conversation also covers immigration and small boat crossings, the role of government and private companies, political power, banking, Davos and what Andrew believes happens when MPs challenge established interests.
Drawing on 14 years in Parliament, Andrew shares his perspective on how Westminster operates behind closed doors, why he became increasingly critical of the political system and the events that ultimately shaped the final years of his political career.

More from Society 2.0
Pete Stone joins Society 2.0 to discuss sovereignty, ownership and why he believes many of the legal and financial systems people interact with every day are fundamentally misunderstood.
Emily Hewertson joins Society 2.0 to discuss whether free speech is disappearing in Britain, and what that says about the direction the country is heading.
Mark Steele joins Society 2.0 to discuss 5G, ULEZ cameras, surveillance technology and what he describes as hidden infrastructure being deployed across Britain. Drawing on his background in engineering and weapons systems, Mark explains why he believes some of the technology being installed in towns and cities has capabilities far beyond what the public is being told. He also discusses his legal battles, his claims around mass surveillance and tracking, and why he says his warnings have repeatedly been dismissed as conspiracy theories. Is Britain being governed in the public interest, or are too many decisions being made behind closed doors?
Is your mind really yours - or has it been programmed by your past? In this episode of Society 2.0, Greg sits down with Rob Hisee, the UK’s No.1 Unconscious Mind Expert, for a powerful conversation about consciousness, anxiety, belief, trauma, visualization, flow state, and how our reality is shaped by the unconscious patterns running beneath the surface. Rob explains why simply understanding your problems is not always enough to change them, why anxiety can act as a protective mechanism, and why the unconscious mind often controls the choices we think we are making consciously. This conversation also explores the power of vision, emotional intelligence, manifestation, spirituality, flow state, and whether consciousness is something we create - or something we receive. If you’ve ever wondered why you keep repeating the same patterns, why “just think positive” doesn’t work, or how belief and visualization actually shape your future, this episode will challenge the way you see your own mind.
