E48 - Race in America: The False Narrative of Black Lives Matter with Kevin McGary
Pod Bless AmericaShow Notes
The Black Lives Matter movement has taken the nation by storm. The group has been protesting police brutality and the systematic oppression of black people in the United States. However, the movement has been co-opted by those who seek to profit from it. It has been used to further the agendas of those who do not have the best interests of the black community.
Woke minions are perpetuating the false narrative that white people are to blame for the problems in the black community. That is not only untrue, but it's also harmful and divisive. But what does it truly mean to embrace all life? How does Every Black Life Matters contrast from Black Lives Matter?
In this episode, we are joined by guests Duane Green (in studio) and Kevin McGary to talk about topics impacting race in America. Duane is a black conservative who is also friends with Jim, and Kevin is the President of Every Black Life Matters. Kevin speaks about the historical origins of racism, how the black community is being misled, and the contrasts between the Black Lives Matter movement and his organization, Every Black Life Matters.
Kevin McGary is an entrepreneur, author, and public speaker. He serves as Chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation of California and is an executive with the Douglass Leadership Institute. As the President of Every Black Life Matters, Kevin leads a collection of proactive individuals committed to developing innovative and new approaches to today's socio/political issues. With the assistance of elected officials and a myriad of community activists, he lectures and provides workshops about today's most perplexing issues.
Enjoy!

For some reason, Frederick Douglass is one of those Americans who doesn't get a lot of time in history classes. He lived an incredible life but left an even more astonishing legacy. It's been a while, but it's time for another story from Jim's dad. We found a lost episode and it helps us out since life is crazy. While you may pull into the wrong address from time to time, imagine landing on the wrong aircraft carrier. Google images of what happened to these poor guys. Let's just say, they may be on the same team but that doesn't mean you can just walk into their house.
It's that time again. Line up one and all for the newest most super duperest COVID vaccines (you love your fellow citizens and grandparents don't you?). Will you comply with new mandates? Jim thinks you will. Also, the Supreme Court is about to get back at it. Join us while we talk about it.
