Who decided these people didn't matter?
Every athlete in this episode was elite, not just good, and the sports world still managed to forget them. Jacob goes solo to talk sports media, who actually gets the mic, and three untold stories for Black History Month UK.
🎙️ Fresh off the NFL London game, Jacob asks why sports media is so personality-driven and whether the people with real knowledge of the game are being overlooked.
Then three stories that should be taught in every school:🚴 Major Taylor, the fastest cyclist on the planet in 1899, banned from the track and died with nothing🏃♀️ Louise Stokes & Tidye Pickett, the first Black American women on an Olympic team, benched when they'd earned their place⚽ Arthur Wharton, the world's first Black professional footballer, whose grave stayed unmarked for decades

Joe is in Philadelphia and Jacob is on the move, but the NFL episode still gets delivered. We each went to a game this weekend: Jacob at Jaguars vs Texans at Wembley, and Joe at Eagles vs Panthers in Philly. We break down both, then get into the Jalen Hurts blood clot situation and the questions it raises about team doctors, travel and who gets cleared to play.
A GP, an aesthetics doctor and now a skincare founder. Dr Adetola Adegoke (Dr Tola) joins us to talk about building Yokuro, a luxury skincare brand made end to end in Nigeria.
Week 5 of the NFL was a week of mistakes, and we’re breaking down all of it. Joe, Dej and Jacob cover the London game, the Commanders and Giants tie, the Seahawks and 49ers shootout and Ravens vs Falcons without Lamar Jackson. They also debate whether Nick Sirianni is a scapegoat, how long Cam Ward should get, and who the real MVP is on the Lions’ offense.
Peez is back, and he's basically the fourth member of the team at this point. 😂
NFL Week 4 is in the books, and Jacob and Dej go through every game. The Commanders' injury crisis, the Texans' defence falling apart, the Bills falling to the Patriots, and Jacob's claim that Brock Purdy is the current MVP.
