32. For Such a Time as This | Esther, Divine Design & Seeing God's Hand in Your Story | Come, Follow Me (August 3–9) This week on Come, Follow Me Moms, we're studying one of my favorite women in all of scripture—Esther. Esther's story is so much more than a story about courage. It's a story about God's divine design, His perfect timing, and His hand working behind the scenes even when we can't see Him. Have you ever wondered:
Why am I in this season of life? Why these children? Why this ward? Why this trial? Why now?
If you've ever asked those questions, this episode is for you. Together we'll walk through Esther's story—from an orphan girl becoming queen, to Mordecai's faith, Haman's pride, and the incredible moments that remind us that there are no accidents with God. One of the most amazing things about the book of Esther is that God's name is never mentioned—not once. Yet His fingerprints are on every page. Maybe that's true in our lives too. Sometimes we're looking for lightning bolts, while God is quietly working through: ✨ a prompting✨ a friend✨ a closed door✨ an unexpected opportunity✨ a conversation✨ perfect timing We'll also talk about: • Why Esther's courage came after fasting and prayer—not before.• Elder Ronald A. Rasband's powerful General Conference message "By Divine Design."• How God prepares ordinary people for extraordinary moments.• Why motherhood is your own "for such a time as this."• The importance of finding your own "maidens"—those faithful friends who pray, fast, encourage, and strengthen you through life's hardest seasons. I also share a sweet Family Home Evening experience our family had this week that reminded me how often God—and the people around us—see gifts in us that we don't always recognize in ourselves. If you've been wondering whether God sees you in the middle of motherhood, exhaustion, waiting, or uncertainty, I hope this episode reminds you that He does. He has always been in the details. In this episode:

If this episode encouraged you, would you take a minute to leave a review and share it with another mom? It helps more women find the podcast and reminds them they are never alone in their scripture study. Thank you for being here each week. I truly love studying the scriptures with you. Remember, God is in the details. He has been preparing you longer than you realize, and the courage He asks of you today may become the answer to someone else's prayer tomorrow. Episode 43: God Knew You Before You Were Born | Come, Follow Me Moms | Jeremiah 1–4; 6–7; 16–18; 20 Have you ever felt like God was asking you to do something you weren't qualified to do? Or wondered if your children are actually listening to anything you're teaching them? 😂 Mama, this week's Come, Follow Me lesson is for YOU! We're diving into the book of Jeremiah, a prophet who was called by God before he was even born. Jeremiah was asked to preach repentance to people who didn't want to listen. He faced rejection, discouragement, and opposition, but the Lord reminded him that he was never alone. And guess what? We can learn SO much from Jeremiah about motherhood! In this episode, we're talking about:
Episode 42: Beauty for Ashes — Letting Jesus Christ Transform Our Motherhood | Isaiah 58–66 Come, Follow Me Moms | October 12–18, 2026 “The Redeemer Shall Come to Zion” Mama, what are you living without right now? Maybe it's sleep, peace, friendship, hope, or simply the energy to make it through another day. Maybe you're carrying grief, disappointment, or a burden nobody else knows about. This week's Come, Follow Me study in Isaiah 58–66 is a beautiful reminder that Jesus Christ doesn't just help us get through life. He has the power to transform us. He can bring beauty from ashes, light into darkness, joy in our mourning, and hope for our future. In this episode, we're diving into Isaiah's powerful prophecies about the Savior, what it means to put on Christ every day, and how we can invite His transforming power into our homes and motherhood. Because, mama, you don't have to have it all together to come unto Jesus Christ. ❤️ 🌸 In This Episode, We'll Talk About:
Episode 41: He Hath Borne Our Griefs & Carried Our Sorrows | Isaiah 50–57 + General Conference This week on Come, Follow Me Moms, we’re studying Isaiah and talking about some of my favorite messages from General Conference! Isaiah teaches us something every overwhelmed, exhausted, worried mama needs to hear: You were never meant to carry everything alone. Isaiah prophesied of Jesus Christ as “a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief.” He didn't just come to save us from our sins—He came to bear our griefs and carry our sorrows. He understands the worry, loneliness, exhaustion, heartbreak, mom guilt, and seasons when life looks completely different than we thought it would. Pasted markdown Sometimes we pray for God to take the hard thing away, but instead He says, “I'm going to walk through it with you.” In this episode we talk about:
Fear Not: You Have Not Been Forgotten | Isaiah 40–49 + General Conference Prep This week on Come, Follow Me Moms, we’re studying Isaiah 40–49 and preparing our hearts and our homes for General Conference. And moms, if there is one message I hope you take away from these chapters, it’s this: God knows you. God has not forgotten you. God will strengthen you. God will lead you. And when what you’re carrying feels too heavy—He will carry you. Isaiah begins with the word comfort, and these chapters are filled with reminders for anyone who feels tired, overwhelmed, afraid, lost, or unsure of what comes next. We talk about:
Come, Follow Me Moms | September 21–27 Isaiah 13–14; 22; 24–30; 35 “A Marvellous Work and a Wonder” What if the things that feel broken in your life aren’t actually finished? This week in Isaiah, we see warnings about pride, worldliness, and turning away from God—but we also see an incredible message of hope, healing, and restoration through Jesus Christ. Isaiah describes broken walls, barren ground, heavy burdens, wandering people, and things that seem beyond repair. But that isn’t where the story ends. He also describes the wilderness blooming, the blind seeing, the deaf hearing, sorrow disappearing, and God’s people being restored. In this episode, we’re talking about what all of that means for us as moms. We’ll dive into:
