Summary
All eyes are on Ballonfoyle as the Domino's Women's Division 1 heats up with the University of Goy Mystics set to host Moye at half past three. After a rocky start to the season, the Mystics have bounced back with two consecutive wins and are eager to extend their winning streak. Key players like Carolina Geerzel, who scored 30 points last weekend, along with Gillian Brown and Elaine Kenney, are expected to lead the charge against a Talca Rovers team that has struggled, winning only one of their four games.
Later in the evening, a highly anticipated derby in the Domino's Men's Division 1 features the Titans hosting Mary at seven o'clock. Both teams have faced early-season challenges, with the Titans recovering from two initial losses to secure two recent victories. Declan Benigui has emerged as a crucial player for the Titans, while Mary will rely on their strong frontcourt duo of Ivor Koreshevich and Cahill Connolly, who combined for 50 points in their last game. The matchup promises to be competitive, with both teams keen to improve their standings.
Additionally, McQuillan travels to Kerry to face Flexikem, Kilorglan, who recently secured their first win of the season. McQuillan, aiming for their third victory, will need to focus on containing Kilorglan's scoring threats, particularly from top scorers Issa Brandon and Jordan Blunt. With confidence on their side, McQuillan hopes to capitalize on their recent performances as they prepare for a challenging game.
