The Making of “Zombie” — YUNGBLUD x The Smashing Pumpkins

Rock history collides in this behind-the-scenes look at “Zombie” — YUNGBLUD reimagined with The Smashing Pumpkins.

Filmed on set in a snowy graveyard, this intimate, cinematic moment captures what happens when two generations of rock connect in real time. YUNGBLUD and Billy Corgan reflect on legacy, urgency, imperfection, and why this collaboration feels less like nostalgia — and more like a shift.

From the raw energy of the performance to the creative decisions behind the sound and visuals, this is a rare window into how “Zombie” evolved into something darker, heavier, and deeply intentional — blending ’90s alternative spirit with modern urgency.

Featuring candid moments with YUNGBLUD, Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin, and the full Smashing Pumpkins band, this isn’t just a music video — it’s a statement about where rock is headed next.

Hosted by Allison Hagendorf, this behind-the-scenes piece captures the magic, emotion, and meaning behind one of the most talked-about rock collaborations of the year.
