Have you thought to yourself – there has to be more to life than this? You chase after the things you've been told to chase after – success, relationships, comfort … but even when you get them, something's still missing. It's like being alive, but not really alive.
That was my life to a tee. I studied hard, worked hard, and in my early to mid-thirties I was well on my way to achieving at least some of what I thought was worth achieving. But each time one of those things dropped in my lap, they felt emptier and emptier.
Back in the day, there was a man named Saul who felt that way too. He had status, education, and power – until one encounter changed everything. On a dusty road to Damascus, he met Jesus.
The old Saul died that day, and a new man – Paul – was born, not physically, but spiritually. His life, his values, his purpose were completely transformed.
He later wrote this explanation of what happened to him– and what can happen to anyone who meets Jesus:
Colossians 3:3-4 Your old self has died, and your new life is kept with Christ in God. Yes, Christ is now your life, and when he comes again, you will share in his glory.
Paul wasn't talking about religion; he was talking about rebirth – the kind that changes you from the inside out. Because when you put your life into God's hands, the old you – weighed down by guilt, fear, and striving – fades away. And in its place, something stronger, freer, and eternal begins.
So if you've been longing for a fresh start, hear this: the life you were made for is hidden in Christ. And it's waiting – right now – to begin.
That's God's Word. Fresh … for you … today.

We spend our lives trying to avoid suffering – running from it, praying it away, pretending it doesn't belong in our story. But in God's kingdom, suffering and glory aren't opposites. They're two sides of the same cross.
Do you ever wonder why some people seem to be flourishing in their faith while others dried up just as quickly as they began? They heard the same message, sang the same songs – but the results couldn't be more different.
We live in a world that tells us, "Enjoy it now. You deserve it." Don't believe me? Listen to the advertising messages that inundate you day in and day out, and tell me I'm wrong. But here's the question – what if what you consume today is stealing the harvest that God intends for your tomorrow?
You can start with passion, talent, and fire – but what matters most is how you finish, because in the race of faith, plenty begin well … few cross the line still faithful.
There comes a point in everyone's life when strength runs out, when the prayers don't seem to work, the waiting feels endless, and quitting sounds eminently reasonable. That's the moment when real courage begins – the courage to endure.
