Battlefront 3 Is Coming, But At What Cost - Last Week In Star Wars

A recent report from Variety suggests that a potential Battlefront 3 game is in the works, as EA announces layoffs at BioWare, a studio known for its beloved titles. The news comes amidst a wave of layoffs across the gaming industry, raising concerns about the future of game development at EA. While many fans express excitement for the possibility of a new Battlefront installment, the ongoing turmoil at EA casts a shadow over the announcement, especially given the company's history of poor decisions and financial struggles.

In other gaming news, Fuse Games, a smaller studio, is making strides with their game Racer, recently releasing a patch that expands multiplayer capabilities. The studio plans to discuss upcoming downloadable content in the near future, indicating a commitment to enhancing player experience. Meanwhile, in the realm of Star Wars comics, three new issues have been released, including a spooky one-shot featuring Mando and Grogu, which explores themes of fear and ecological balance.

The episode also touches on the ongoing debate over the correct interpretation of Huttese terms used in the new game Galactic Racer, with fans divided over whether "Pookie" or "Bookie" is the accurate translation. This lighthearted controversy highlights the community's engagement with the franchise's lore. Overall, the discussions reflect both excitement for new content and apprehension about the industry's direction.
