JUNE 2026 - SUMMER SALE

The Most Ambitious Box Set In Physical Media History demands The Most Comprehensive Severin Podcast Ever: Join Andrew, David, Writer/Producer/Editor/Special Guest/Kindred Spirit Madeline LeDespencer and Super-Special Guest Steven Severin (Siouxie & The Banshees) as they delve deep into all – and we mean ALL – things Grand Guignol, including blood, guts, theater, madness, morgues, music hall, trunk murders, killer chimps and more horrors of the real world. From the birth of the collection's concept – it goes back to 6-year-old David discovering Denis Gifford's 'A Pictorial History of Horror Movies' – through the sleuthing, archaeology, genealogy, restoration, curation, production, post-production, new music, massive book editing, challenging packaging and other macabre quandaries that brought the entire Severin Team to the brink of sanity. Stick around for an extra-special set by DJ Rendezvous spinning sounds that are positively Grand Guignolesque. C'est maintenant qu'il faut écouter!

Our 20th Anniversary celebration continues as David and Andrew recap the special guests, big announcements and heat-induced hallucinations from the celluloid lovefest that was Super-Shock '26. Then Indonesia's Master Of Horror Joko Anwar himself drops in to discuss our 4-disc collection THE SACRED & THE CURSED, featuring four of his classic films, director-approved masters and 10+ hours of Special Features. PLUS an interview with filmmaker Joko Anwar on set of his new film SATAN'S SLAVES 3! Next it's onto the North American Disc Premiere of Emily Blichfeldt's jaw-dropping/ass-kicking THE UGLY STEPSISTER, the Oscar-nominated body-horror fairy tale that should be considered required viewing. Finally, the lads undress 3 discs worth of goodies on our North American UHD Premiere of Just Jaeckin's GWENDOLINE that may or may not include adolescent fantasies of Tawny Kitaen. The first duty of Severin Love is to listen!

Join David, Andrew and Amy as they clear away the cobwebs, pry open the crypt and descend into a deep, dark discussion of DANZA MACABRA VOLUME FIVE: THE SPANISH GOTHIC COLLECTION. They're joined by disc producer Kat Ellinger for a candelabra-lit exploration of four of the most unique titles to ever grace a DM box set, with a few startling surprises along the way. And just when you think the twisted darkness has lifted, DJ Alfonso emerges to spin a crumbling castle's worth of sinister sounds inspired by our Spanish Gothic bacanal. The New Severin Podcast is now live!

The Severin Films Podcast goes scorched earth, catches disco fever and meditates on a monolith: Join David, Amy & Andrew as they enter the nuclear codes for our Worldwide UHD Premieres of THE WAR GAME and THREADS, including a visit by filmmakers Craig Mann & Robert Nevitt to discuss their Bonus Disc documentary SURVIVORS: THE SPECTRE OF THREADS. Then Team Sev is stayin' alive for a discosploitation celebration of our DISCO ITALIANO Collection, followed by Spectacular Optical's Kier-La Janisse on her premiere release A YEAR IN A FIELD. And in the second round of 'Hammer It Out', our hosts each rank their Top 3 nuclear holocaust movies with an aftermath playlist by DJs Alfonso and New Wave Dave inspired by this month's announcements.

Prepare yourself for a podcast of intimate, hypnotic and bloody abundance, in which David, Andrew, Amy and Special Guest Producer Gillian Horvat discuss the 7-disc wonders of SANGSTER DIRECTS HAMMER, the most exceptional Hammer Films collection ever released in North America. If you love THE WICKER MAN, you'll want to hear the startling backstory of Dominic and Justin Hardy's award-winning documentary CHILDREN OF THE WICKER MAN. Then Joe Yanick of partner label Yellow Veil Pictures unveils THE WORLDS OF LUCILE HADŽIHALILOVIĆ, the 4 Disc set featuring a quartet of classic films by one of the world's most transgressive filmmakers. Finally, David, Amy, and Gillian reveal – and nobly defend – their own Top Hammer Titles of All Time. Be sure to stick around for Rendezvous After Hours as DJ Alfonso unleashes a sonic bacchanal inspired by this month's announcements.
