First up: THE MOON IS OURS. President Donald Trump set the internet on fire after posting an image of the lunar surface with an American flag and the words “The Moon Is Ours” on Truth Social. The post was real, although it was a graphic rather than a formal proclamation that the Moon had become U.S. territory. What does it mean, and how far does the America First agenda extend when we're apparently leaving planet Earth? Then the guys investigate a viral claim attributed to Mel Gibson, alleging that the actor called for the world to unite in opposition to Israel. But is the quote even real? Fact-checking published in August 2026 found no evidence Gibson made the statement and reported that his representative confirmed he does not operate the social-media accounts being attributed to him. That only makes the story more interesting: who created it, why did it spread, and how easily can fabricated statements become accepted as reality? The crew also digs into the disturbing Lindsay Clancy murder case, examining the trial through the lens of media manipulation, psychological operations, manufactured narratives, and deception. The real case ended in a mistrial on September 4, 2026, after jurors were unable to reach a unanimous verdict following nearly 40 hours of deliberations.
