This is a preview of the most recent Patreon episode, which you can (and more importantly, should) sign up for over at www.patreon.com/soundtracker Today I'm joined by rapper and fellow Wu-Tang expert JJ Demon (@JJDemonic) to talk about RZA's first foray into film, GHOST DOG: THE WAY OF THE SAMURAI. In this episode, we talk about how Jim Jarmusch should be allowed to do a big budget action film, how great Forest Whitaker is, how the mob portrayal in this movie could have influenced The Sopra...

Rob Rousseau (@robrousseau) is joining me once again to talk about my favorite movie of all time, 1978's DAWN OF THE DEAD. I just want to make this very clear up front, this is not a cheat episode. There is an actual soundtrack for this movie, and it's supposed to be Josh's mixtape he's listening to on his headphones. I've always been fascinated by this one, and I'm excited to get to it. With that out of the way... Hey everyone! It's my favorite time of the year, Halloween! And it's time for a new slate of horror films for the show. Up first is one of my all-time favorite horror movies, THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT. A...
Today I'm joined by long-time friend, former Jeopardy contestant, and veterinarian Mark Primiano (@doctor1hundred.bsky.social) to talk about THE WARRIORS, one of the all-time cool movies. Did you know COBRA had a soundtrack? Well, neither did I, but thankfully it did, because it was a perfect excuse to get fan-favorites L Ron Mexico and Plexico Gingrich on again. Oh, and did you know L Ron has a new podcast called No Homework? You should, because he's a cohost with recent guests Patrick Cosmos and Charles Star. This was, as always, a blast to talk about with these guys. Check out No Homework here: https://nohomework.website/?synced=1 Support the show on Patreon! It's the...
Once again I'm joined by David Roth and Charles Star, and this time we're tackling some Michael Mann, with his divisive 2006 movie MIAMI VICE. In this episode, which is almost as long as the movie, we talk about the movie, the soundtrack, and whatever else we wanted to talk about. It's a chaotic episode and I wouldn't have it any other way. You can't fight gravity, just like you can't fight listening to this episode. Check out No Homework here: https://nohomework.website/?synced=1 Check out D...
