On the surface our fears sound reasonable… I am afraid of confrontation, I am afraid of public speaking, I am afraid of what they'll say or what they'll think. You talk to your friends about your fear and mot can relate.
BUT, what if what you're afraid of isn't actually what you're afraid of at all?
In todays episode I offer a different way to look at your fears, to dig deeper, to peel back the layers and see what is hiding underneath that surface fear. And, spoiler alert, its your THOUGHTS.
We're not *truly* afraid of what's going on outside of us, as much as we're afraid of what could go on inside of us. And when we can see and recognize that, it takes some of the power from that fear.
Because with the work we're doing here on this podcast, and in the world, we know that we are the only masters of our mind. And if our fear is of ourselves, then we have control over it. And man, there is so much power in that!
Join me as we take a look at what your subconscious might be offering, that your conscious mind is actually totally cool with.
See you inside💥

In chatting with a client this week, we unpacked an old belief she has about herself and what being successful means. She had it in her head that success looks a certain way, so she is always trying to achieve more, make more, be more. But recently she stopped and asked herself what truly makes her happy- and it wasn't her bank account or title.
This week we have another mailbag situation. The specifics of this are around political differences within a family, and how to move through them… but the overall takeaway from this podcast is how to navigate when people do things differently than you and you find yourself judging them because of it.
One of my fave topics! This comes up so frequently in my coaching and mentoring sessions: "I feel like I am made of more but I am paralyzed by fear." Cool. Welcome to being human.
Sometimes parenting is about parenting. And sometimes parenting is about re-parenting ourselves.
Today you get part two of my conversation with Raina, where we dive into what has happened since she finished writing her book, Bare.
