Show Notes
The Sleep Lab Stories hosts Angela Howell talking about handling all-night sports commitments, how parenting and jet-lag intersect, and thoughts on dreams.
**Apologies, folks, for any confusion created by me in this episode. I mention “social jetlag” and then lose my thread trying to explain. Here is a definition of social jetlag to set the record straight.
Social jetlag describes the gap between when our body clock says it’s time to wake up and the obligations of a social clock that determines the start time for things like work and school. And then, on the weekend, we sleep-in to try and ‘catch-up’ on the sleep we missed over the week.
