The Smiling Man Trapped in Stone

The Smiling Man Trapped in Stone

A man in rural Brazil, alone in his bolted home, felt an unseen presence watching him. Hours later, a doctor witnessed water pouring through a hole in his cheek, a wound that defied explanation. What could have caused such a horrific injury without a trace of fire or struggle?

In this episode, we delve into the chilling case of Joao Prestige Filho, a farmer in the isolated village of Araçariguama in 1946. We explore the strange circumstances leading up to his death, the local legends that offered a temporary explanation, and the physical evidence that ultimately made those theories impossible.
