Darren is joined by Tony, Danny and Andy to look back on Celtic’s 2-1 comeback victory over Hibernian at Easter Road, as the Hoops battled back to secure another three points in the league.
We kick things off by discussing Celtic’s sloppy start, as a lapse in concentration allowed Hibs to take an early lead. Thankfully, the response was almost immediate, with a dangerous corner causing chaos in the Hibs defence and resulting in an own goal to bring Celtic level. Then came the moment of the match, as Camilo Duran produced a brilliant solo effort just before half-time to put Celtic ahead with what would prove to be the winning goal.
With nine wins from ten league games, the most goals scored and the fewest conceded, the numbers suggest Celtic have plenty to be happy about. But are things really as rosy as they seem? Despite the results, there has been plenty of frustration among the support over the team's sloppy performances, lack of a clear style of play and worrying defensive lapses. Are these just minor blips, or are Celtic heading for trouble if the performances don't improve?
We also discuss Kasper Høgh’s continued struggles in front of goal and the frustration surrounding Alistair Johnston’s return from a lengthy absence, as he was forced off just minutes after coming on.
Plenty to debate, plenty of questions, and as always, no shortage of opinions!
Finally, we look ahead to a huge week in the title race. With second and third place facing off on Wednesday, Celtic have the opportunity to extend their lead at the top when Dundee United visit Celtic Park. Can the Hoops take advantage and put further daylight between themselves and their nearest challengers?
