Can You See Anything Now? | From Blurred Perspective to God-Given Vision
Whitestone Messages with Tauren WellsShow Notes
What if the reason your year feels uncertain isn’t a lack of provision—but a lack of perspective?
In this powerful New Year message, “Can You See Anything Now?”, Pastor Tauren Wells walks through Mark 8 to show us that God-given vision often comes in stages. Just like the blind man Jesus healed, many of us can see something—but not clearly yet. And that’s okay. Faith doesn’t require full clarity; it requires trust.
This message reframes how we view lack, disappointment, and delay. When we look at our lives through doubt, even abundance can feel like emptiness. But when Jesus touches our eyes, we begin to see differently—our resources, our relationships, our calling, and ultimately, Him. As you step into a new year, the question isn’t what do you want to see happen? It’s who do you see? Because once you see Jesus clearly—the Great I AM—everything else comes into focus. In this week's message, "Not Guilty," Pastor Tauren Wells teaches us that the blood of Jesus didn’t just cover our sins for a season; it secured our redemption forever. Through His sacrifice, Jesus took the punishment we deserved, satisfying both the justice and love of God, and declaring those who put their faith in Him NOT GUILTY. We no longer have to live under the weight of shame, guilt, or condemnation because the blood of Jesus has already accomplished what we could never earn on our own. In this week's message, “Breathe On It,” Pastor Lorna Wells teaches us that sometimes you can have everything looking right on the outside and still feel like something’s missing on the inside. When God breathes on your life, He brings dead things back to life, fills you with His Spirit, and gives you power to walk boldly in what He’s called you to. You don’t have to keep trying to do it all in your own strength. God wants to breathe on you and bring you fully alive. In this week's message, "Here Comes The Church," Pastor Jeremy Marrone teaches that from the beginning, God has been forming a family to carry His presence and purpose into the world. Through Jesus, we’ve been given a new identity, filled with His Spirit, and called to make Him known. The Church is alive, the mission is clear, and here comes the Church. In this week’s message, “The Fight For Your Health,” Pastor Joseph Aiken walks us through how our body matters to God, and caring for it is part of stewarding what He has entrusted to you. This is not about perfection, shame, or striving to become someone you are not. It is about surrendering what has been controlling you, finding freedom from comfort and fear, and becoming fully available for the purpose God has placed on your life. In this week's message, "The Fight For Your Future," Pastor Doug Jones teaches us that the future doesn't have to be something we fear when Jesus is our confidence. Fighting for your future means gaining a godly vision for who you want to become, guarding your heart against envy with gratitude, embracing the journey, and leaning on community and intimacy with Jesus. When we learn to love our future selves and trust the Lord with what's ahead, we can smile at tomorrow like the woman of Proverbs 31.
