This week, I'm joined by dear friend and fellow world traveler Mary-Anne Tangey while she's stuck in quarantine in her Australian homeland. We met while backpacking in Belfast ten years ago and reconvene to discuss why we travel, where the itch comes from and what we hope to accomplish whenever we leave home. MA and I explore the trauma of being caught overseas during COVID and the regrets we have. We debate the double-edged sword of independence/loneliness and wonder after the magic of relationships forged on the road. When we travel, are we running away from something? If so, is that so bad? What are we anxious about when we travel? How does FOMO shape our trips? Is it possible to "do" a trip wrong? Will our bed bug discussion negate any positive feelings toward backpacking and hostels? Let's find out, shall we?

This week… we’re doing something a little different. This week, Andy is the guest, because Andy was the model for a life drawing session in Pasadena, CA where he was joined by five talented multimedia artists sketching, painting and watercoloring Andy in his birthday suit.
This week’s guest is sex scholar, bestselling author and astrologer, Nadège (they/she).
This week’s guest is Jacinda Pender (@adultsdrink), a nonbinary beauty and makeup influencer and model who walks me through their transformation and journey finding beauty and helps me on my path to discover my own.
This week’s guest is Rachel Overvoll, a Somatic Sex and Intimacy Coach with Modern Intimacy and the author of Finding Feminism, a memoir that chronicles her journey breaking from a fundamentalist evangelical Christian upbringing and her healing from sexual trauma and domestic abuse. Rachel is also the author of The Breakup Journal, a just released book that offers hands-on, interactive prompts to help you heal from a fractured relationship.
