With winter fast approaching and all the southern rumours that barra dont bite when its cold, we debunk those theories with some tips and tricks on what to look for and where to look. Lure choice plays a big part so we discuss what lure works best and why. We have both done a couple of trips recently , some successful some not , we talk about what made them successful and what made them unsuccessful , and with Gaz catching some legal fish something has changed in his favour. So sit back grab a coldie and enjoy the NQ Fishing Show as Rhyce and Gaz share some great stories ,
One of the best parts about doing the show was chatting to people , we were lucky to chat to people far and wide .I found this recording from a few years ago where we got to have a chat to the iconic Merv Hughes. Merv needs no introduction to cricketing fans world wide but his fishing leaves alot to be desired , this chat is when Merv is just starting out on his TV show Merv Hughes Fishing. So have a listen as Marty , Chez and Myself have a chat with the legendary Merv Hughes
Latest Podcast is up and running in this episode Rhyce joins me and slaps his tackle on the table :) sorry Tackle storage. We briefly touched on our tackle storage solutions on last show bit we go in depth now , from sandwich containers to slit foam tackleboxes we chat about them all (I will put some photos up so you can see the set up). Rhyce is probably the most organised fisherman I know and it was great to chat how he stores his prawns , vibes and swimbaits each system holds them perfectly in line as a bent tail can be the difference between catching and not catching. We also chat about fishing rods and why Rhyce uses rods built by Aaron from ACM, from slow to fast taper we find out what and why he chooses a specific rod and with the barra season just under a week away we chat breifly on where to look on opening day. We will do a Barra Special next podcast so I will line up a few local guns to join us , so sit back grab a coldie and enjoy the latest Podcast from the NQ Fishing Show
