Erik Wetterling – Value Proposition In BCM Resources, NV Gold Corp, and Tocvan Ventures

The KE Report

Show Notes

Erik Wetterling, Founder and Editor of The Hedgeless Horseman website, joins us to review the value proposition that has his attention in 3 junior gold and copper exploration stocks, that have put out compelling news in the recent past and that have key alpha growth catalysts on tap in the medium-term.

The companies we discussed in the interview are:

BCM Resources Corporation (TSXV: B) – On October 26, the Company announced that recently completed geophysical surveys are beginning to highlight new prospective targets at its 100%-controlled Thompson Knolls (TK) project, Millard County, Utah. In September, Zonge International Geophysics completed induced polarization (IP) and magnetotelluric (MT) surveys in a series of lines across the TK property. A total of 6 lines, one in a general south-north direction and the other five in east-west directions, enabled coverage of most of the project area. Zonge has provided the Company with early-stage modeling of MT data, presented here, while further processing the data to generate 3D inversion models to help design BCM's Phase 5 drilling program at TK.

NV Gold Corporation (TSXV: NVX) (OTCQB: NVGLF) – On October 20, the Company is providing an update to its initial 2026 drill results from its 100%-owned Slumber Gold Project, located 70 kilometers (45 miles) west-northwest of Winnemucca. The 2026 reverse circulation drilling campaign has now received assays from 10 of 17 drillholes that have been completed to date. Drilling is continuing. At least 15 additional holes are planned for this program. The current drill holes have been sited to test the eastern DeLong Ridge and Awakening Zones nearly 1.4 kilometers northeast of previously reported gold zones at Slumber, drilled from 2019-2025. The Awakening Zone straddles the boundary between the Company's existing north area claims and a portion of the recently leased DeLong Ranch lands. Drilling continues south and southeast of DeLong Ridge.

Tocvan Ventures Corp. (CSE:TOC)(OTCQB:TCVNF) - October 29 the Company announced initial trench results from ongoing pilot mine development at its 100%-owned Gran Pilar Gold-Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico. Main Zone Trench 19 returned an average of 4.6 g/t Au, with samples up to 24.4 g/t Au, while Trench 3, testing a new zone approximately 1.3 km east of the pilot mine area, returned an average of 0.8 g/t Au and 100 g/t Ag, with samples up to 234 g/t Ag. Approximately 6,000 tonnes of material from the three trenches has been stockpiled on site, providing early feed characterization for the planned 50,000-tonne pilot facility.

In this two-part episode, technical strategist Rick Bensignor and resource analyst Brian Leni dissect why headline indices mislead investors, what technical warnings are flashing across crude oil and gold, and how to position your cash into asymmetric, catalyst-driven opportunities without falling into emotional traps.
