Show Notes
This week we head back to the MCU in the 1940s to deep-dive into the 2015 Agent Carter series! We’ll take you behind the scenes on how Peggy Carter became the MCU’s first breakout star, and the strange case of Marvel Studios taking charge of Marvel Television to make this show! We’ll explore the continuity issues with the Agent Carter Timeline and how it fits into the MCU, the improvised techniques used to film the show like it was the 1940s, and the history of LA’s real world “Dollhouse” complex! Then we’ll deep-dive into the first two episodes of Agent Carter and pull them apart scene-by-scene, to bring you all of our thoughts, reactions, and that patented MVM Analysis! We explore tons of Marvel history and trivia from the 1940s to the modern day - including The Whizzer’s crime-fighting adventures, the reason Vita Rays were invented for Captain America, the fighting capabilities of Edwin Jarvis, the secrets of the two Anton Vankos, the history of Leviathan, and what happens if you French Kiss a cockroach! Plus we’ve got all Marvel Connections, no matter how obscure or tenuous, collated and collected from the personal history files of every actor on the screen!
