Resonance - Vol 7 | Vocal Trance Podcast Mixshow | 2026-07
t6 - Convergence Podcast >> House Techno TranceShow Notes
Twelve danceable tracks of ballad-driven vocal trance. Gabriel & Dresden set the tone with a rolling, wintry ache of "Waiting For Winter." Christina Novelli appears twice, Craig Connelly's "Shipwreck" is exactly what it sounds like, and DT8 Project's "Pieces" is one of the most emotionally direct tracks in the series to date. Tucandeo & Storyline's "Crystal Sky" closes with a kind of luminous, unresolved beauty that lingers long after the mix ends.

0.5.1. Vol. 22 is the deeper, harder, stronger half of October Techno Month. Beats here work into a frenzied mash of thundering bass and then let's the pressure go. The lightning strikes in Roman Tapia's Resonanate and the thunderstorm claps with Augsto Taito, Voorman, and Derlich & Kareem grinds the mix into the deepest, dark places before a release is... Donato Dozzy's "Hypno Trance 0" is the pivotal moment, arriving mid-set like a slow-motion descent into something genuinely altered. The Zenker Brothers, Mark Broom, and Regent keep the tension architectural and precise in the first half, while Adrian909 and Denn Punk dominate the closing stretch with a locked, almost minimalist relentlessness. Tarkno & Remco Beekwilder's "Sketch #7" signs off with unsettling calm.
0.5.1. Vol. 21 opens October Techno Month with intent. Thirteen tracks that lean hard into the mechanical and industrial — Tygapaw's raw "Can I Live" sets an uncompromising tone from the first bar, and the mix never softens from there. Planetary Assault Systems' Function-reworked "Diesel Drudge" is the undisputed centrepiece, a collision of two of techno's most respected names landing exactly where the tension peaks. Fadi Mohem appears twice, bookending the mid-section with cold precision, and 23.4 closes the set with "Elevation" — the only moment the mix allows itself to breathe.
Unter [Currents] Vol. 32 doesn't waste a second. Fifteen tightly wound tracks of peak-time tech-house that hits harder and faster than Vol. 30 — less about the slow build, more about keeping the floor locked in from the first beat to the last. Bastian Bux and Teedee open with some dj-sampled accents, and Baggi & Chico Rose's "Beep Beep" and Beyond Limits' "Act Up" make it clear early that this volume has a swagger to it. VNSSA's "Euphoria" is the mid-set highlight, Sasha & Franky Wah bring underground credibility to the closing stretch, and Marian (BR) bookends the back half — "Cambio" into "Deeper Down" — sealing the mix with groove and purpose.
Downdraft. Thirteen tracks of driving vocal trance that builds steadily from the autumn-cool, atmospheric opening of Solid Stone's remix of "Salty" through a mid-set run that doesn't relent — Giuseppe Ottaviani and Amba Shepherd poeticaly illustrate a paradigm between steady exteriors and turn interior emotions of our deepest connections and the conflict that sometimes overlays the dynamic. Protoculture, and the timeless Delerium feat. Emily Haines forming a peak-hour triptych that earns every emotion it asks for. Ferry Tayle & Betsie Larkin, Tritonal, and Tiff Lacey carry the energy through the final stretch before Velvetine and Anske & Victoriya bring the volume to a soaring, hopeful close. Full of longing, full of forward (e)motion.
A mix that dances with its eyes closed. More kinetic than previous volumes but no less emotionally loaded — eleven tracks that move between longing and release without ever fully choosing one over the other. Parra for Cuva's delicate "Juri" and JUNO (DE)'s bittersweet "Last Dance" set the emotional coordinates early, before Hot Since 82, Nora En Pure, and Liva K push the energy upward without losing the ache. Amonita appears twice in the heart of the set — "Frozen Soul" into "Celestial Dreamer" — as the mix's most vulnerable and most beautiful passage. Keinemusik's "Cloudy Eyes" and Andrea Oliva's "Spotlight" close it out with warmth and quiet resolve. Still melancholic. Just harder to sit still to.
