More from Hamsterdam: A Podcast About The Wire
We’re launching a new podcast! It’s called Watch This Immediately. Steve grew up as the son of a preacher man and I grew up in the Middle East. Consequently, there’s a lot of pop culture that we both missed out on as kids and as adults. We hope you’ll join us as we try to correct these wrongs. Here’s the link you can paste into your podcast player: Watch This Immediately
It’s been a long time, we shouldn’t have left you. Join us as we let you know what’s been going on over the past 2 years, some of our usual banter, and what’s next for us.
UPDATE: We replaced the audio file with one where all the silence wasn’t cut out. Enjoy! We begin our journey to give Season 1 of the Wire its proper audiovisual due.
We discuss kids raising kids, precocious young boys, and the inexhaustible xenophobia of 1970s Britain.
An old friend joins us for the last episode, Abby shows that a leopard cannot change its spots, and we see a lot of the cast one last time through the eyes of a heavily made up Vinny.
