WELCOME FRIENDS, COMRADES, FAMBLY, AND FRENEMIES TO ANOTHER GLORIOUS EPISODE OF CINEPUNX!
Well, for better or worse here we are in 2025. I have so much to say about survival, resilience, preparing for the worst but also never giving up on hope, but this is not really the place for it. Just know we love you, and we want to be a source of joy for you. 2024 was not a great year for politics, society, the environment, but it WAS a great year for movies (and music btw). so Josh and I decided to spend an episode sharing our love for some great cinema in 2024!
This list is not meant to be definitive or comprehensive, personally I missed a ton of films last year, but this is just a chance for us to celebrate some of the movies that moved us. I start the episode giving you all my caveats and apologies, but suffice to say I hope this is not only entertaining but helpful in finding some new movies to check out. Ok love you all.
Thanks for listening! Please spend some time checking out our Patreon and of course, check out the family of shows available at Cinepunx.com.

More from Cinepunx
You can hardly believe it but those stalwart boys of Cinepunx are back! On this explosive new episode we get into it on two classic films we should have seen already, but somehow had not: Apocalypse Now and Platoon. We specifically watched the redux edition of Apocalypse Now if that matters to you, which I had not seen before now. Despite some reservations about the style of these movies, some of the narrative decisions, and the method they were made, we were mostly blown away by these movie.
NEW EPISODE IS HERE! Join us as we explore one of the greatest directors of the 20th Century, Yasujiro Ozu by discussing his most famous film, Tokyo Story.
COME AT YAH WITH A BRAND NEW EPISODE!
BACK TOGETHER AND IT FEELS SO GOOD! Hey friends, welcome to our new episode as we check in on the cinema of today! Basically, we are working to try and record more, and I would LOVE to blame Josh but in reality scheduling has been hard for both of us. Episode is still super good, so no worries, but yes, it is a bit of a catch up so we have something to put out. Still love you though
