Hey friends, I'm so excited to be back behind the mic with you after a little break. It feels so good to return refreshed, reconnected, and ready to dive into conversations that really matter. I'm kicking things back off with something special—this episode is actually a live teaching pulled straight from The Becoming Her Collective, my monthly membership for women who are serious about stepping into their next level with clarity, alignment, and real support. This is just a glimpse of what goes down inside the Collective. We talk about identity work, habit-building, emotional mastery, and everything in between to help you become the version of yourself you know you're meant to be. Today's episode is all about consistency—and why we struggle with it. I'm sharing how it often comes down to emotional safety and nervous system regulation, not laziness or lack of willpower. You'll hear practical ways to create safety in your body so you can finally build habits that stick. Let's get into it. https://alliecasazza.com/collective My links here:https://alliecasazza.com/tpslinks

You know what you're supposed to be doing. You've read the books. You've tried the diets, the supplements, the routines, the mindset work. You know you need more sleep, less stress, and probably a little more time taking care of yourself. So why do you keep ending up right back where you started? In this episode of The Purpose Show, Allie sits down with emotional eating, digestive, and hormone expert Amber Romaniuk for a conversation about what's actually happening underneath the patterns so many women blame themselves for. Because sometimes, the problem isn't that you don't know enough. It's that you've spent so much time trying to fix your body that you've forgotten how to actually listen to her. You'll hear: • Why doing all the "right" things doesn't always address the patterns behind emotional eating and burnout • How stress, emotional triggers, and learned behaviors can influence your relationship with food • Why high-achieving women often struggle to slow down and recognize what their bodies need • How childhood experiences can shape automatic eating habits you don't even realize you have • Why emotional eating isn't always about sadness, boredom, or stress • What it actually looks like to practice mindful eating when you're used to multitasking through every meal • How being the woman who handles everything can lead to ignoring your own needs • Why rebuilding body trust starts with awareness, compassion, and learning to pause • How to begin shifting from frustration with your body to a more supportive relationship with yourself This conversation is about so much more than food. It's about the relationship you've built with your body. The patterns you've learned. The pressure you've normalized. And the possibility of doing things differently. Because knowing what your body needs and actually responding to those needs are two very different things. And that's exactly where the deeper work begins. 🎧 CONTINUE THE CONVERSATION Part 2 of this conversation airs October 21 on Amber's podcast, The No Sugarcoating Podcast. What if you didn't have to wait until you felt motivated to actually do the thing? Because here's the truth. Motivation isn't magic. And it's not something you have to sit around waiting for. In this episode, Allie guides you through a short, powerful activation designed to help you shift your state, reconnect with the feeling of following through, and take action without waiting for the perfect moment. Through intentional breathing, visualization, and a simple physical anchoring exercise, you'll practice accessing the confidence, drive, and certainty you've already experienced before. In this guided audio, you'll: • Shift your physical state through intentional breathing and posture • Reconnect with a moment when you felt confident, capable, and unstoppable • Practice creating a physical anchor you can return to when you need motivation • Visualize yourself taking the next small step instead of waiting for the perfect feeling • Reinforce a new identity built around action, consistency, and following through • Practice the simple statements: "I move now. I continue now." You don't need another Monday. You don't need another dramatic reset. And you definitely don't need to wait until you feel ready. Sometimes, you just need to reconnect with the version of you who knows how to move. Come back to this audio whenever you need a little help getting started. Ready to stop starting over? You can repeat: "I trust myself." "I follow through." "I'm good with money." …and still feel your entire body going, "Yeah, absolutely not." That reaction matters. Because repeating the "right" words is not automatically the same thing as changing what you believe. In this episode, Allie breaks down why the same affirmation can land completely differently for two people, what resistance is actually telling you, and how to stop trying to make giant, unbelievable jumps from the belief you have now to the one you wish you had. You'll hear: • Why positive affirmations can sometimes make you feel worse instead of better • Why what you already believe affects how an affirmation lands • The difference between forcing a new belief and building a believable bridge toward it • Why "make it positive" is less useful than "make it accurate" • How resistance, discomfort, and the immediate "yeah right" response give you valuable information • Why Allie loves pairing affirmations with EFT tapping • How your language and your behavior can work together to create evidence for a new identity • Allie's process for using affirmations more intentionally: Choose it. Check it. Bridge it. Feel it. Prove it. Repeat it. Affirmations aren't magic words. But they aren't useless either. They're a tool. And instead of trying to bully your brain into believing something that feels miles away, you can intentionally practice language that supports where you're going while paying attention to everything that comes up along the way. So don't throw out your affirmations. Get better at listening to what happens when you say them. Ready to stop starting over? Something happens… and within about three seconds, you turn it into a statement about who you are. You procrastinated → "I'm so lazy." You overspent → "I'm terrible with money." You missed the workout → "See? I can never stick to anything." You felt awkward → "I'm just not confident." The behavior happened. But then you made the behavior mean something about your identity. In this episode, Allie breaks down why the language you repeatedly use about yourself matters, how your self-talk can keep rehearsing an old identity, and what to do instead without forcing yourself into fake positivity or affirmations you don't actually believe. You'll hear: • Why your brain is listening to the language you repeatedly use about yourself • The difference between describing something you did and turning it into who you are • How phrases like "I always," "I never," "I'm just," and "that's how I am" can reveal the identity you're still rehearsing • What research on self-talk and emotional labeling can teach us about the way language affects your brain • Why replacing one negative statement with a positive statement you don't believe isn't the answer • How to use Allie's three-step process: Catch it. Separate it. Recode it. • How to choose language that is accurate, believable, and points toward the version of you you actually want to become You do not need perfect thoughts. You do not need to monitor every sentence that comes out of your mouth. But what you repeatedly say about yourself matters. Because you can consciously be trying to become more consistent, confident, or intentional while spending the rest of your day casually narrating yourself back into the identity you're trying to leave behind. So for the next 24 hours: Watch your mouth. Catch it. Separate it. Recode it. And start noticing which version of you is getting the most airtime. Ready to stop starting over? You might be trying to become a woman who isn't actually you. Not because wanting to grow, change, or become a new version of yourself is wrong. But somewhere along the way, "becoming her" can turn into chasing a fantasy woman who never gets overwhelmed, never loses momentum, always follows through, has the perfect routine, and apparently has no inconvenient emotions or actual life. And every time real-life you doesn't behave like fantasy-you would, it feels like evidence that you're failing. In this episode, Allie breaks down the difference between chasing an idealized version of yourself and actually discovering and becoming the woman you're here to be. You'll hear: •How your future self can quietly become another impossible standard
