Show Notes
This is it — the final announcement of our crowdfunding month. We're thrilled to introduce the new host of Canadaland's Monday edition and unveil the new title for the show. Wait for it...
Do you have burning questions for any of our new hosts? Well, if you're seeing this on Thursday, you're in luck: We're doing a LIVE "ask me anything" call-in show this evening, from 4:30-6:30pm EDT. Head to callinstudio.com/show/canadaland or dial in at 888-401-7056 when the time comes. Sam, Noor and our new host (no spoilers!) would love to hear from you. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
More from The Backbench
It's true. Jesse Brown has fired himself as a host of Canadaland podcasts.
Some say Canada is currently in the throes of a horrible surge of anti-Jew hatred. Others say that anti-zionism is being conflated with antisemitism.
Since the end of last year, episodes of The Backbench have been available on the Canadaland feed, alongside lots of other great content — oftentimes featuring voices you may be familiar with from The Backbench. Starting in July 2025, The Backbench feed (this one!) will no longer be publishing new episodes, but you can still find new episodes of this show every Tuesday on Canadaland.
