Show Notes
Please join Samantha ad Denise as they welcome Dr. Stacy Jagger, a licensed marriage and family therapist, author, and speaker specializing in digital detox, child development, and family connection. Known as “Dr. Sassy,” she’s also the author of “30 Day Blackout,” and the creator of The Mountain Method to help families heal, reconnect, and thrive through creativity, play-based therapy, and digital detox strategies.
Dr. Jagger shares her insights on how excessive screen time is affecting children’s development and mental health. She emphasizes the importance of returning to a natural environment of creativity and connection, advocating for her ’30 Day Blackout’ challenge, which encourages families to disconnect from screens to foster deeper relationships and creativity. Dr. Jagger also discusses the alarming effects of screen time on brain development, particularly in young children, and the need for a balanced approach to technology use in family life.
Stacy has compiled all of her expertise in working with families into a course. It’s called “The Mountain Method” and walks families through the 3-6 month healing process, including a digital detox. The course is $1000 with the option to work with Stacy or someone on her team as a “Sherpa” guide for another $1500 / 6 session coaching package.
Life changing for families struggling with disconnection and digital overwhelm. For more information:

Here’s the shape of September, in one sentence: it’s a month of turning inward while the world asks you to engage outward.
Empaths are often deeply connected to the animals they share their lives with, these are not merely pets but beloved friends, confidantes and family members. In this episode, we explore the soul connection many empaths feel with their pets, why in many ways it can feel easier than dealing with other people and also the reality of grieving the lose of a dear friend when they cross the Rainbow Bridge.
We’re back again with one of our favorite episodes to do each month, questions, comments and stories from our amazing Enlightened Empaths community!
