In October 2024, two pig farmers in remote farmland in New Zealand saw four people walking across a paddock. They all spoke briefly and they would, crucially, take photos and a video of them. Because these two hunters think they may just have stumbled across one of New Zealand’s most notorious outlaws. They would be correct.

In just four days, five students were murdered inside their own apartments, leaving an entire university town terrified that they could be next. But as police raced to find the killer, they had no idea he was already sitting in a jail cell — and the evidence that would finally expose him had been hiding in an evidence locker.

For months, a mysterious man had been calling Dorothy, claiming to love her, watching her every move and threatening her life. Then, one night, she disappeared from a hospital car park - but the calls to her family continued for years, leaving one chilling question: who was on the other end of the phone?

In August 1966, two men told their wives they were going away to buy equipment for work. Three days later, both men were found dead on a hillside in Brazil. There were no obvious injuries. And beside them was a note containing a set of instructions.
