"For a group of people who don't want to face bad things, it was hard. Harder than death... because with death, they always went on..."
On December 19, 1961, JFK's father, Joe Sr., suffered a stroke. This is the story of that fateful day. There are many similarities between his condition after the trauma of his stroke, and the condition his daughter was left in after Joe himself had her lobotomized exactly two decades before, in 1941. Today, we will discuss all of it. Welcome to the Kennedy Family Meeting Episode 16 Part 2.

"That's why the details about the accident are so sketchy... Kennedy doesn't know what happened"

On July 19th, 1969, Joan's world changed again. This time, it was the final nail in the coffin she'd already been living in… "There's been an accident." Ted's voice said from the other end— he sounded strained and quivery… like he was crying. "Oh no, Ted… What now?" What came next, What now?, was a bomb dropped straight into her bedroom—the truth that exploded all over her life. What came next… was the death of everything. "A girl drowned, Joansie. And there was nothing I could do. I swear it."
