This week the gang sits down with OMP Hobby team pilot Jiawen Bao to discuss advanced flybarless tuning techniques. While we mainly focus on the Vbar Neo/Evo and Rotorflight FBLs, the concepts described are universally applicable to most flybarless units. Jiawen has studied control loops and systems in depth at Stanford University where he earned his graduate degree in mechanical engineering. So pull up a chair, get out a notebook, and dig into this episode with us as we all learn how to improve the performance of our RC helicopters. There's also the usual updates as we bought stuff, flew stuff, crashed stuff and sold stuff, and we also dig into the latest news in the hobby. 4 Guys, 7 Events! Honestly it could be more... we lost count of Kenny's back to back weeks of events. But all of us have been attending events all over the U.S. and have a lot to talk about. We're a little late this week, just the difficulty in syncing up 4 schedules and prioritizing all of us being here when we record. But we are happy to report that Brian is back after sleeping through the last episode. So lot of catching up, digging into Nick and Brian's scale projects, some new builds, and lots and lots of events, plus some news thrown in for good measure. As always... thanks for listening!
