Show Notes
Wisconsin has been on lockdown for about five weeks now, with at least five more to go. What do do in the meantime? Play video games and reduce our pile of shame, of course!
Vinnk and Sean talk about the games they're playing while Safer at Home, hopefully reduce their Pile of Shame by finally playing through the original Doom games and Final Fantasy VII and VIII -- all available now for Nintendo Switch -- plus how out of all the games that were announced in last March's Nintendo Mini Direct the most appealing seems to be... Clubhouse Games??

A friend of the show passed away last November. She made games that shaped our childhoods, and graciously offered her time for an interview and cameo for one of our videos reviewing her work on Out of This World.
It used to be true, and still is to some extent, that visiting a video game store in Japan is a rite of passage for foreign visitors to Japan, but if you pull out a camera to take a video you may find you are no longer welcome.

Sean sent Vinnk a blu-ray copy of The Last of Us for Christmas with the expectation he'd rather watch the show than play the game. However, our livestream audience had very strong opinions about the best order to experience this amazing story. Should Vinnk play the game even though it's a lot longer, and survival/horror isn't really his thing? Or does the HBO series which dives down deep into its characters and is quite a bit lighter on zombies and the shoot shoot bang bang a better path?
