Show Notes
Alex and Will leave the Podcave behind and move into the Podtower as they begin the next stage of Batman’s journey through the DCAU with Justice League and watch, “Secret Origins, Part 1.”
Along the way, they discuss Batman’s updated design for the series, meet the newest heroes joining the expanding animated universe, and take a look at the talented voice cast bringing them to life. The conversation also dives into the episode’s many nods to classic sci-fi horror films and uncovers the influences that helped shape the Justice League’s debut adventure.
As always, the discussion takes a few unexpected detours, including the discovery that Superman may have accidentally wandered into the Manosphere, Batman uses his Superman alert watch for absolutely everything, and Wayne Manor hosts an apple sauce party.
Packed with analysis, trivia, and plenty of laughs, this episode marks the beginning of a new era for the podcast as the Justice League finally assembles!
