Wanderwood 007 - Pepper and the We'll Borrow
DadReadsToYou - Bedtime Stories & Read‑Aloud Adventures for KidsShow Notes
Pepper has an idea. Hazel has a lot of dirt. And together, they're about to build something they never planned on calling a We’ll Borrow.
When Hazel needs to move all the dirt she's been digging out of her new home in Wanderwood, Pepper decides there must be an easier way. Soon, the two friends are experimenting with wheels, handles, borrowed parts, and one increasingly unusual wooden machine.
But getting an idea to work isn't always as easy as having the idea in the first place.
Pepper and the We’ll Borrow is a gentle, funny bedtime story about friendship, tinkering, problem-solving, and discovering that sometimes the best inventions are the ones you build together.
🌲 Welcome to Wanderwood — a cozy forest filled with Hazel the bear, Gus the cat, Pepper the weasel, Edwin the owl, and Ripley the fish. Each story is a slow, comforting adventure designed for kids and families to enjoy together.
Perfect for: bedtime, quiet time, relaxing, preschoolers, young children, and families looking for a gentle original story.
