A Shot of Strange: Lindow Man Investigation - Trailer
Occultaria of Albion: The Paranormal BroadcastShow Notes
Welcome to a brand new series of A Shot of Strange. In this series I’m going to investigate the posthumous life of the UKs most famous bog body and I’m going to do it through the lens of the campaign song, Lindow Man We Want You Back. The song was part of the campaign to return Lindow from London back to the north of England where he was discovered. I will talk to people involved in the making of the song – the children who sang in the choir, the producer and I’ll even speak to Lindow Man himself! How will I speak to someone who has been dead for 2000 years? Tune in and find out. To hear the song go to:"Lindow Man, We Want You Back Again" - The Complete Campaign Song (1987) Starting on February 15th comes The Bloke From the Bog – The Lindow Man Investigation. Exploring the way we can conjure the dead back to life through pop songs, children’s choirs and cool T-shirts.

The Lindow Man series has finished but do not despair - here is a bonus episode! Though not about Lindow Man, it is certainly similar - with a focus on deep time. Once again I spoke with Dr Helen Wickstead and this time we talked about dawn stones? What are dawn stones? What is an eolith? Fine somewhere comfortable, relax and tune in to find out.
For this final part of the Lindow Man investigation we, at last, pay a visit to the actual remains of Lindow Man in the British Museum. This might be the last Lindow Man episode but with luck there will be a bonus episode in the very near future... If you've heard the previous 2 episodes then you're going to love this one! I have been able to interview the legendary producer, Phil Hampson! He was the mastermind behind the Lindow Man song.
