The Daily Wolf | Robinhood's crypto revenue just grew for the first time in a year.
The Wolf Of All StreetsShow Notes
From The Daily Wolf with Scott Melker, live weekdays at 12pm ET on Yahoo Finance.
Robinhood's crypto revenue broke a three-quarter losing streak, rising 20% to $120 million. Almost every outlet led on the 55% drop from a year ago instead. Scott Melker walks through what the quarterly numbers actually show.
Intel, Oracle and IBM told OKX and ICE not to tokenize their shares, which takes the objector count to 26. Brazilian companies bought stablecoins on election day and the real crashed the next morning.
Scott Bessent, Secretary of the Treasury, told Ripple's conference that stablecoins will keep the dollar on top. And Datavault AI lost half its value after admitting it cannot withdraw the Bitcoin it booked as an asset.

Dan Held, Bitcoin marketer and former head of marketing at Kraken, joins Scott after Bitcoin dropped as low as $76,000 and Binance confirmed the largest crypto hack in history, roughly $6.3 billion. Scott and Dan break down how a single developer's laptop could lead to the Binance exploit, why it looks like social engineering rather than AI, how frozen funds and Binance's SAFU fund shrink the hole to about $2 billion, and the wider wave of attacks on Polymarket and hardware wallets. They cover self-custody and cold storage lessons, CZ's crisis communications, exchanges pushing back on tokenized stocks, Kraken and on-chain IPOs, and why institutions now agree Bitcoin was right. Dan shares what he's building with Perception, then Scott runs The Weekly Wreckoning: Strive's Bitcoin buying, Ripple's trust charter, the Fed holding rates, DTCC's tokenization service, Bitwise's $1.6 million target, ICE and Hyperliquid perps, and Coinbase earnings. Matt Cole, Chairman and CEO of Strive, joins Scott to break down Bitwise's new forecast of $1.6 million per bitcoin by 2036, why corporate Bitcoin buying outside Strategy has dried up, and how Strive keeps adding bitcoin through digital credit after a $511 million buy took its treasury to about 43,000 BTC. Matt explains why Bitwise's base case is defensible, why superintelligence and dollar debasement favor scarce assets like Bitcoin, and how Strive's fixed-rate SATS differs from SATA for income investors. They cover Strategy shareholders approving daily dividends, which Bitcoin treasury companies are likely to survive, blending Bitcoin with real estate, and why AI-driven hacks and hardware wallet tampering are pushing some holders away from self-custody for now. Scott closes with AI-found Bitcoin node bugs, Google's crypto custody system, DTCC's tokenization service, Stan Druckenmiller's first tweet, Coinbase earnings and Kalshi Bitcoin odds. Brett Tejpaul, Co-CEO of Coinbase Institutional, joins Scott to talk about where Bitcoin's biggest buyers went, with the Coinbase Premium negative through October, and why seven of the world's largest banks are now building on Coinbase infrastructure for stablecoin payments and institutional crypto adoption. Brett explains the Citi stablecoin payments partnership announced at Sibos, why banks see crypto as a threat to their payments and wealth businesses, how the Clarity Act's failure and new SEC and CFTC guidance pushed banks to move, and the Standard Asset Company strategy that pairs UAE real estate with Bitcoin. They also cover MiCA stablecoin rules, how JPMorgan, Chase, Citi and PNC use Coinbase, and why Wall Street plumbing is good for crypto. Scott closes with stablecoins in Brazil's election, Bitcoin beating the S&P 500, companies objecting to tokenized stocks, Marathon's Bitcoin moves, Scott Bessent on crypto and the dollar, the Fed decision and ETF flows.
