After a night of visions and fitful rest, it isnt long before the party find themselves once again mixed up in the business of others. Against his better judgement Bjorn races to help someone from a dishonorable death - unwittingly pulling the rest of the party into harms way as they rush to support him - the rescue however, could result in another ally or perhaps even a new comrade for the team.

The Shattered Veil — Where Hope Takes Root Episodes 5-8 | Omnibus Chapter 2 With Dosmoyran soldiers closing in, the party is forced to abandon the farmstead and lead the refugees into the forest, seeking shelter in a nearby cave system. But their escape quickly turns bloody when two scouts discover them, triggering a violent confrontation and a desperate pursuit that brings Tholandi dangerously close to a larger military detachment. As Bjorn keeps watch at the cave entrance, uncertain whether Tholandi will return, Faedra and Kremlev venture deeper underground, where dwindling torchlight threatens to leave them stranded in darkness. Wounded and exhausted, Tholandi finally finds uneasy rest, while Kaia's concern for the hungry families sparks a well-intentioned plan that rapidly descends into confusion, frustration and bitter disagreements.
