Show Notes
Discouraged? Learn a simple, biblical playbook to reset hope, hear God at work, and regain momentum as a leader.
Welcome to Heaven in Business, where we help you partner with God, build better business, and multiply Kingdom impact.
In this episode Andy gets real about end-of-year fatigue and fear of launching something new, then walks through Elijah’s journey to show how God meets us in discouragement, resets our focus, and gives us a practical next assignment. You’ll learn how to pause, listen for the still, small voice, and move from “adequate” survival to discipling people and building systems that outlast you.
Three Practical Takeaways
Name what’s really going on. After big wins that don’t shift culture, discouragement is normal. God meets you with rest and a gentle question, not a rebuke.
Listen for the still, small voice. Don’t chase the next power moment; get direction in the whisper that repurposes you.
Shift from platform to people. Build disciples and systems. Success without succession isn’t success.

What do you do when disappointment happens so often, that you stop believing anything will ever change?
Sometimes a simple conversation, a word of encouragement, or taking a moment to pray for someone can have a greater impact than you ever imagined. Because you carry more hope than you realize.
What if feeling under qualified isn’t a sign you’re in the wrong assignment, but evidence that God is inviting you to depend on Him?
What if your recurring employee challenge isn’t just an employee problem—but a disciple-making opportunity?
After 15 years of Heaven in Business, one thing has become increasingly clear: we were never meant to navigate faith, family, and business alone.
