Today on the podcast, Anne talks with Katie Moulison, a physical therapist and Orthopedic Clinical Specialist who specializes in treating people who have pain, including chronic and persistent pain. She is the owner of Kathryn Moulison Physical Therapy, where she uses her passion for educating clients on strategies to help overcome their persistent pain and live life to the fullest. She believes in providing her clients with support that meets them where they are - both literally, through mobile and telehealth services, and figuratively, by listening to her clients stories and helping them follow the path to feeling better through a holistic approach.
We talk about the different types of pain that affects the general population, and some of the risk factors that put people with Parkinson's at a higher risk to develop persistent pain. In addition we talk about some of the treatment strategies that people use to manage their pain and how a well rounded, holistic approach is best for long term optimal management of pain.

In this episode, I speak with Anne Muskopf. Anne is the Director of the Charlotte & Richard Okonow Parkinson's Family Support Program at the Jewish Family and Children Services in Waltham, MA. We discuss the value that community programs bring to people with PD as well as discuss the value of support groups.
As we move from Women's History Month to Parkinson's Disease Awareness month, I felt it was important to take some time and talk about the impact of Parkinson's Disease on Women. This week on the podcast I talk about pain.
Orthostatic Hypotension affects up to 1/3 of all people with Parkinson's and can have devastating consequences. In this episode, Anne discusses what Orthostatic Hypotension is, how it is diagnosed, and strategies for how to manage it in your daily life.
