Faithful in Babylon Day 3: But If Not: Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. WordNWorship Oct 25, 2026.
Blessed2TeachSummary
A strong belief in the omnipotence of God is emphasized, with the assertion that Christianity uniquely teaches salvation through faith alone, contrasting with other religions that require works. The speaker expresses a conviction that God is raising a dedicated group of Christian patriots to combat societal fears and challenges, particularly against perceived threats from progressivism and globalism.
The discussion shifts to a biblical analysis of the Book of Daniel, particularly the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who refuse to bow to King Nebuchadnezzar's golden statue. The speaker highlights their unwavering faith, encapsulated in the phrase "but if not," which signifies their commitment to God regardless of the outcome. This narrative serves as a metaphor for contemporary struggles against societal pressures to conform, encouraging listeners to maintain their faith in the face of adversity.
The episode also explores the concept of divine presence during trials, illustrated by the miraculous survival of the three men in the fiery furnace, where they are joined by a fourth figure, often interpreted as a manifestation of Christ. This serves as a reminder that believers are not alone in their struggles, and the speaker encourages listeners to seek God's presence and strength during difficult times. The overarching message is one of resilience, faith, and the importance of standing firm in one's beliefs amidst societal challenges.

Faithful in Babylon Day 3: Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, the fiery furnace, and the fourth man in the fire.Bible study notes for Day 3:https://www.faithnfreedom.social/c/faith-blogs-discussions/faithful-in-babylon-day-3-but-if-not-shadrach-meshach-and-abednego King Nebuchadnezzar set up a golden image ninety feet tall on the plain of Dura and ordered the whole empire to bow when the music played. Three young men from Judah stayed on their feet. Threatened with the burning fiery furnace, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego told the king their God was able to deliver them, "but if not," they still would not bow (Daniel 3:16–18). In Day 3 of Faithful in Babylon: Lessons from Daniel, we walk through Daniel 3 verse by verse: why they refused to bow, what "but if not" faith looks like when the rescue you prayed for does not come the way you expected, and who the fourth man walking with them in the fire was. Three men went in bound. Four men walked unbound. They came out without even the smell of smoke. The pressure to bow has not gone away. This teaching will help you settle it before the music plays, and remember who is in the fire with you. Plus: Virginia Senator Louise Lucas charged, election integrity, and Trump's record year. On tonight's B2T Show, host Rick B2T opened with election integrity, sharing Mark Cook's point that the current system can prove neither that only eligible people voted nor that the votes were counted. He covered the federal indictment of Virginia Senate President pro tempore L. Louise Lucas and six others (charged and presumed innocent), a list of officials charged in seven states in 90 days, John Solomon's report on new Hunter Biden documents, the search of Rep. Ilhan Omar's home (she has not been charged and calls it political), and President Trump's posts on Vivek Ramaswamy's ad, LeBron James, Iran's oil and a reported probe of Corey Lewandowski. Rick also played a CNN segment on Trump's record year in tariffs, migration and executive orders, and covered El Salvador's operation in Haiti, National Guard security in Washington, D.C., and a reported Israeli plan for Iran after the midterms. Guest Gavin Mehl, who covers bitcoin law and markets, answered what the Bible says about money from Proverbs 11:1 and Leviticus 19:35-36, explained why he says a Federal Reserve note is currency rather than money, and told his account of the Kleiman and COPA court cases and the coming film Killing Satoshi. He made his case for Bitcoin SV over BTC and XRP (his views, not financial advice), and announced that Craig Wright plans a keynote in Ireland on November 5. The show closed with prayer for Gavin. The analysis finds Trump voters and Harris voters moving in near-lockstep on Question 3, a pattern random reshuffles of the same ballots never matched. Ed says he found the same pattern on the abortion question, while every other question looked random. Tonight he explains what a cast vote record is, what a fair election looks like inside one, and how you can get your own county’s records and check them yourself. Also, should you vote early? Bernadette Smith says "Absolutely" and walks through the Scripture behind it, from Luke 10:19 to the armor of God, then prays her Invocation for the Nation. Plus Rick on the October surprise. B2T Show, October 15, 2026. Bernadette Smith, a Michigan minister and speaker, former co-chair of the Michigan Republican Party, wife of Pastor Philip Smith and mother of eight, shares how she came into politics, hearing the Lord say "I want my government back," why she urges believers to vote the platform, and her ABCs of government: Accountability, Balance, the Constitution. She explains what it means to decree and declare from Luke 10:19, Job 22:28, Isaiah 57:19 and Ephesians 6, with one guardrail: say what God's word already says. She closes by reading her Invocation for the Nation. In the first half, Rick gives his read on the October surprise and covers the news: Netflix's reported losses ("go woke, go broke"); a federal civil lawsuit in which two anonymous plaintiffs accuse former Congressman Matt Gaetz of sex trafficking, which Gaetz says is largely false (no criminal charge was mentioned), and why Rick is on the fence about whether it is an October surprise; why Rick says you can oppose Israel's government and still hold to biblical Israel; a Fox report of an FBI search at the office of Virginia state Senator Louise Lucas in a corruption investigation (no charges were mentioned on air); President Trump's post on the execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan; and the fight over Ken Paxton's Senate race. Rick urges viewers to vote biblical values on November 3. Expect talk of pausing the midterms, martial law, and what it really takes to restore the Republic. Don’t miss it. Next on B2T, we open the first lesson from Faithful in Babylon: young Daniel stands before the empire’s towers holding a stone tablet that turns his name—“God is my judge”—into Belteshazzar. Babylon renamed him, retrained him, and fed him, but one quiet resolve in Daniel 1:8 kept his heart untouched. Discover why the God who “gave” Judah into exile still calls His people by name and outlasts every kingdom that tries to remake them. Tune in.
