Show Notes
It's summer, the sun's blazin' outside so Jef figured the boys were due for some swimming. After all, it must be safe to go back in the sea after all these years. So he grabbed the Forever Midnight crew, packed their dunk trunks and headed down to the swampy lagoons of Florida for some summer time snorkeling. Little did they know, lurking just beneath the depths was a pissed off monstrous killing machine!!! One by one members of the Sea World Aquatic Fun Park started biting it (figuratively and quite literally). With so much bravery, The FM3 sprung into action, gathered their harpoon guns and grenades and prepared to battle the massive beast known as "Jaws"!! It was a wild underwater battle and Jef, Josh and Brian almost lost their lives to the wild superimposed beast. Luckily they were ready for whatever this adventure had to offer and that ended up being a rather large shark explosion and a trail of dead Sea World employees. All in all it was one of the guys' better escapades. Then they headed home and watched "Jaws 3-D" and talked about it here, so come on, don't be afraid just dive in and listen!!
More from FOREVER MIDNIGHT - Horror Movie Podcast.
In this episode, the FM3 tackle another long awaited Top Dawg Patreon pick "American Psycho"! Jef, Josh and Brian talk about this layered and beloved classic while also going on a couple of tangents as per usual. The crew talks about the many theories about who and what Patrick Bateman really is and what he has really done. It's a fun conversation and you should hit play now and listen!
In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian head to the movie theater to check out Zach Cregger's newest film "Resident Evil" on the big screen! They loved Zach's other films and at the same time were weary because this was from a huge franchise while his other films were small original movies. But the FM3 had faith that it might be good since both Weapons and Barbarian were so cool. So hop in the car as the crew heads to Raccoon City to see what all the hubbub is about. Maybe they will get to see some nasty lumpy bump creatures, or at least that's what they are hoping for.
In a rare move Jef, Josh and Brian decided to continue chipping away at the Phantasm franchise, back to back even! This time around the guys are talking about 1998's Phantasm 4: Oblivion! Luckily for the crew Reggie, Mike, Jody and the Tallman are all back for this phunky 90's sequel. Like it or loathe it or however you slice it (with a sphere saw blade) this flick gives the fans more of what they really wanted and that was more of the Morningstar Mob! Now come slip into your best ice cream man jammies, grab your favorite quad barrel shotgun and dive into the coffin portal once again with Forever Midnight!
In this episode the FM3 are back in the hearse yet again! Still mourning the passing of the one and only Reggie Bannister, The guys saddle up to watch the action packed and super fun Phantasm 3! This threequel is packed with so many of Jef, Josh and Brian's favorite things that it is hard to deny that it is nothing short of a masterpiece! Reggie is in full "Hero Mode" in this addition to the franchise and he might be the single coolest bald movie hero ever! There was much to talk about so the crew chatted for a while and were having a blast recording this episode! So listeners, shine your spheres, slide into your best funeral attire and grab some nun-chucks because it's time to visit the Tallman again!
It's that time again! Time for the FM3 to open up the Voicemail Vault to hear from all of the wonderful listeners. Who knows what stories or secrets lurk or what questions will be asked when they hit play? One thing is for sure, it's gonna be an adventure! So fasten your safety belt listeners it's time for Listener Voicemail #10! If you would like to leave us a voicemail for a future episode you should call 707-327-2984, now enjoy the show!
