"Boston: You're My Home"

As the cliché goes, you have your whole life to write your first album—but only one shot to get it right.

We're clocking out. We don't want to work. We just want to bang on our drums all day and share our favorite songs about the daily grind! For this episode, most of the crew took the assignment very seriously, toiling away to find the perfect, most thematic songs about the realities of working for a living. But one slack motherf*%cker (we'll let you guess who) put in the absolute bare minimum, shoehorning in tracks with only the most tenuous connection to "work" just because he wanted to play them. So be like Nash, take the day off, and let DCLF do the heavy lifting as you enjoy the tunes!

At the Movies … Again

Like Elmo in 2024, DCLF is checking in to ask: “How’s everybody doing?” Feel free to vent while we wade through the chaos and uncover some of the year's best tunes. Plus, find out which live show brought Derek to tears, who’s digging the indie sounds of the Keystone state, and why Nash is ready to curate the sights, sounds, and scents of a swank cosmopolitan hotel. Featuring tracks from Beth Gibbons, Tropical F%ck Storm, Honeyglaze, Sheer Mag, Nice Biscuit, and more. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
