We have so much to discuss this week! We start with the news that Harry may be staring in an upcoming movie based on the book My Policeman. If the rumors are true, Harry will be playing a 1950s queer man torn between societal expectations and love. Listen to TDDL on our Patreon to hear more of our thoughts on this because there is a LOT to discuss.
Then we delve into Sunflower Vol. 6 the wonderfully poetic, nostalgic, and funky song on Harry's album Fine Line. We ask: -Where are volumes 1-5? -What does the sunflower symbolize? -What musical inspirations can we hear? -Will he play this live on tour?
Check out Talk Direction Down Low on patreon.com/talkdirection for EXTRA PODCAST CONTENT!! This week we talk more about Harry's potential role in a film adaptation of My Policeman: Was the book written by a queer author? What does it mean to have more sad queer media? Will promo for the movie lead to annoying, invasive questions of the cast?
