Chesney Hawkes: How “The One and Only” ALMOST didn’t happen, Playing John Lennon’s Piano & Big Brother

Chesney Hawkes joins David and Matt to share the story behind his chart-topping hit The One and Only, written with Nik Kershaw and how it changed his life. He talks about growing up in a musical family just down the road from John Lennon, the surreal highs of pop stardom and his time in the Big Brother house.

In the second part of our special edition of You Can’t Ask Me That, David and Matt bring along their best friends of over 30 years - Louisa (David’s friend) and comedian Ashley Blaker (Matt’s friend) - for a no-holds-barred chat. From meeting Ringo Starr and swooning over ex-Bond Girls to dishing out each other’s best and worst qualities, nothing is off-limits.
