Nu Disco House Party - Discothèque Decadence DD032

DD032 | Nu Disco House Party 🪩🌕❄️

Snow on the mountains, a Hunter’s Moon overhead and a dancefloor far too warm for an early night. Welcome to a little Discothèque Decadence après-ski escapism. Leave your boots by the door and make yourself at home…

We open with The Emotions’ “Best of My Love”, because sometimes one song is all it takes to put a huge smile on someone’s face. A little joy, a lot of soul and an excellent reason to dance around the kitchen. ❤️

Then we’re off: Dave Lee brings the swagger to “Rappers Delight”, Michael Gray gives “Love X Love” a fresh sparkle, and “Just The Two Of Us” settles into the kind of groove that makes the rest of the world feel pleasantly far away.

There’s a moonlit detour through Eagles’ “One Of These Nights”, a little gratitude with “Be Thankful For What You Got”, and plenty of dancefloor mischief courtesy of Masters At Work, Crazy P and Opolopo. “Is It Love You’re After” turns up the warmth before “There’s No Stoppin’ Us” and “Every Time You Touch Me” help bring us home.

Twenty-two tracks of soul, disco and feel-good house, put together with a full heart and a slightly unreasonable belief that there’s always time for one more tune.

Whether you’re beneath a disco ball or dancing barefoot at home, there’s a place for you here.

With love, The Funk Assassin 🖤
