This was my first time playing one of the main arenas at Electric Picnic, and I didn’t really know what to expect. I went in with an open mind and a diverse playlist of music that felt right for the occasion.
There’s a little bit of everything in this set - my own productions, new and old, tunes I associate with my early days as a clubber in Dublin, some techy bits, some acid, and plenty of unreleased and exclusive material. I also made a brand new remix of Luz - “I’m Lonely” especially for the show, which you’ll hear in the set.
The energy and atmosphere in the arena were incredible.
I also really liked being tucked away a little higher up than usual - it felt like there was less focus on the DJ and more on the music and the atmosphere in the arena. It’s always a pleasure to play to a crowd like that, especially on home soil.
It felt like a proper rave.
High energy from start to finish.
