Is it weird to sniff people's hair as they go past? | Matty & PJ's Best of The Week
Matty & PJ - The PodcastSummary
A recent discussion centers around the peculiar habit of sniffing people's hair, sparked by a listener's confession. The individual admits to subtly inhaling the scent of hair when someone is within close proximity, raising questions about the social acceptability of such behavior. While one host initially defends the act as a potential evolutionary response, both hosts ultimately agree that intentionally sniffing a stranger's hair crosses into creepy territory.
Listeners weigh in on the debate, with many expressing strong disapproval of the behavior. One caller describes it as "definitely a weirdo" action, emphasizing that while noticing a pleasant scent is normal, purposefully moving closer to sniff is not. The conversation highlights a broader theme of embracing quirks while recognizing the boundaries of social norms.
