Sleep Training, Boob Job Recovery & Getting Back to Work

Pursuit of Wellness

Show Notes

I’m back with another solo Q&A, and we’re catching up on everything happening in life right now. Cai is ten months old, we’ve officially started some very gentle sleep training after bedtime started taking up to two hours, and I’m finally feeling excited about work again. Between getting ready for our big Bloom event in New York, being cleared to work out after my boob job, and figuring out this new version of wellness that actually fits motherhood, life feels very full in the best way.

I’m answering your questions about my breast lift and implants with Dr. Anna Steve, including my 265cc implants, lift, slight reduction, fat transfer, and how surprisingly easy recovery has been. We also get into my new engagement ring and why I changed it, tattoo removal, microneedling and CO2 laser, getting back into horseback riding, what’s happening with Arnold, and some of the charities and causes I’ve been getting involved with in Austin. Plus, I’m sharing more about Cai’s current schedule, our favorite baby products, and what life looks like splitting time between Austin and Aspen.

And for anyone currently in the newborn trenches, I’m sharing the advice I wish every new mom could hear: this season is temporary, ask for help, and let the people who love you become part of your baby’s life. This one is short, sweet, and very much a life-lately catch-up, from motherhood and fitness to beauty, business, babies, and everything in between.

I’m back with another solo Q&A, and we’re catching up on everything from motherhood and work to where we’re living, my boob job, and what life looks like almost a year after having Cai. We just got back from LA, where I spoke at Founder Island with Greg, and it was such a full-circle moment going back to the place where so much of my fertility journey and early career happened. I’m also getting real about how different work feels now, why I’m saying yes to things again, and how motherhood has completely shifted what actually feels important to me.

Fi is back for the first time in nearly a year, and this episode feels like the best kind of best-friend catch-up — nothing off limits. Fi gets fully honest about going off her GLP-1 medication, thinking she'd cracked the code, only to have the food noise come back full force and gain everything back in two months flat. She breaks down what she did wrong the first time, what Oprah's book Enough shifted for her, and how she's approaching round two differently. Mari opens up about an emotional spiral she had the day before recording — staring at Cai and being blindsided by grief and anger about her own childhood — and the two get into one of the most raw conversations the show has had about parenthood, the past, and what it means to protect your kid the way you wished someone had protected you. They also finally tell the real story of their friendship — the codependency, the hard conversation, the awkward in-between — plus Fi's booming real estate career, her baseball player boyfriend who actually shows up, CO2 laser updates, internet mom-shamers, and one nap they catastrophically destroyed together.
